Conformance target

Aulys targets WCAG 2.2 Level AAAacross this website. Where a AAA success criterion is genuinely impractical for a given component, we meet Level AA and document the exception. We re-audit on every release with Lighthouse and axe, and with Aulys’ own engine as it gains live-URL scanning.

What we hold ourselves to

• ✓Semantic HTML with correct landmarks and heading order
• ✓Keyboard-operable throughout, with visible focus indicators
• ✓AAA (7:1) body-text contrast; AA minimum where AAA is impractical, documented
• ✓prefers-reduced-motion and prefers-color-scheme honored
• ✓Real, meaningful alt text; decorative images correctly hidden
• ✓Tested with NVDA and VoiceOver before release
